Bonnie Sue Bohling Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bonnie Bohling, age 59, mother, daughter, friend, grandmother, sister, lost her battle to cancer on September 9th, 2022, after a long hard fight. Bonnie was born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 19th, 1963, to LeRoy William and Shirley Jean (Andrews) Bohling. Bonnie was always such a bright light. She loved her kids and grandkids. Bonnie was an avid St. Ignace Saints girls’ basketball fan and a Pittsburgh Penguins fan. In her spare time, you could find her jamming to Elvis driving down the boulevard, on her tablet, catching a sunset or doing her favorite thing being a grandma. She loved sunflowers and the moon. Her bright, vibrant personality will be missed by all who knew her. Bonnie is survived by her son, Michael (Rebecca Harrison) Collins of Pickford; daughter, Ashlee (Matt) Roy of the Sault; grandchildren, Lyric Collins, McGowan Collins, and William Vieau, mother, Shirley Mondoskin of Hessel; sisters, Louise Easterbrook and Veronica Hetzner; brothers, Glenn (Sam), Roger, and LeRoy Bohling; many nieces and nephews. Bonnie is proceeded in death by her father LeRoy Bohling; stepfather, Vernie Mondoskin; and many loving aunts and uncles. There will be a celebration of life Saturday, September 10th, 2022, from 3 PM -7 PM at the Anaamianag Hessel Tribal Center. Bonnie loved the moon and tomorrow is a full moon.
