Dorothy Patricia "Patsy" Dosenbach

Dorothy Patricia “Patsy” Dosenbach, age 82, of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, passed away on January 2, 2022, in Sault Ste. Marie. She was born on January 4, 1939, in Flint, Michigan, to Frank and Dorothy (Steele) Westover. Patsy was a member of the Donaldson Presbyterian Church. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, and reading. She spent a lot of time volunteering for Shriners with her husband Carl helping children locally, and around the world. Patsy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Lynn Dosenbach, whom she married in 1957; her children, Pam (Gary) Chilva, Carla (Ernie) Grenier, Cindy Moniz, and Sandy (Tony) Budzinski; grandchildren, Jessica (Nicholas) Flood, Jeremy (Stacy) Moniz, Jenelle (Spencer) Philip, Alaina Grenier, Tyler Budzinski, and Sarah Budzinski; and great grandchildren, Samuel Flood, Evan Moniz, and Adelynn Moniz. Patsy is also survived by her siblings, Janet Szczepanski, Linda Westover, Laurie Payment, and Wendy (John) Bjunes; sister-in-law, Heike Westover; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jack Lynn Dosenbach; siblings, Ron Westover, Rick Westover, Judy Herrmann, and Joan (Bill) Henderson; and son-in-law, Joseph Moniz. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, cards, and visits during this difficult time. Services will be held Friday, January 14, at Galer Funeral Homes & Cremation, 24549 S. M-129 in Pickford, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cottle Cemetery in Marquette Township, Michigan, in the spring.
