Harold John Wuebker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harold "Web" John Wuebker, 87, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 4, 2022 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. He was born in St Henery, OH on December 2, 1934 to Joseph and Francis (Stelzer) Wuebker. Harold is survived by his children, Robin (Georganna) Fournier of Greenfield, WI, Charlene (Alan) Cahill of Sault Ste Marie, MI and Marc Wuebker of Marco Island, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren Eric (Julie) Fournier of Wales, WI, Amberleigh (Carlos) Fournier of Milwaukee, WI, Nicholas (Emily) Cahill of Oklahoma City, OK, Natalie Cahill of Sault Ste Marie, MI, and Ian (Amanda) Fournier of West Bend, WI, and 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, wife Esther (Fournier) Wuebker, son Daniel Fournier, daughter Deborah Verrett, brother Willard, sisters Dorothy, Betty, Margie, Joanne, and Janice. Harold was an active member of the Elk's Club for over 40 years. He loved to bowl, play cribbage, and golf. Harold retired from the US Air Force. After retirement he attended and graduated from Lake Superior University with a BS in Business. He enjoyed going to Florida for a couple months in the winter with his sisters. Harold was a kind, loving man whose family meant the world to him. He was quite the prankster and could tell a tale without cracking a smile. We will all miss his wonderful sense of humor. Visitation will be Friday March 11, 2022 from 10:00AM until 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM to celebrate Harold's life at St Joseph's Church, 1101 Minneapolis Street, Sault Ste. Marie, MI, with Father Michael Chenier officiating and Deacon Bill Piche assisting. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Sault Elk's Club Crippled Children's Fund in Web's name. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in the spring. Clark Hovie Galer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
