Jean Lee (Jensen) Duff, age 83, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away February 14, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Sault. Jean was born on January 17, 1940, in Sabula, Iowa, to Alvin Charles and Dorothy Elizabeth (Tracy) Jensen. Jean graduated from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Iowa, in May 1958. Jean married Milton “Buzz” Duff on July 7, 1967, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hanover, Illinois. Jean is survived by her husband, Buzz; son, Donald (Teresa Fletcher) Dixon of Dubuque, Iowa; daughters, Kim (Shaon) DeGreif of Sault Ste. Marie and Jodi (Craig) Marshall of Knoxville, Iowa; stepsons, Dale (Elizabeth) Duff of New Albany, Indiana, and Darryl (Lisa) Duff of Loves Park, Illinois; grandchildren, Lisa Dixon, James and Paula DeGreif, and Colton Marshall; step-grandchildren, Amy Elias, Heather Duff, Rachel Juergens, Renee Enright, and Jared and Jaci Duff; one very special great granddaughter, Mackenah Blair; sister-in-law, Karen Jensen; nephews, Scott, Travis (Sabrina), and Nathan Jensen all of Cuba City, Wisconsin; niece, Jami Jensen of Clinton, Iowa; and twelve step-great grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Dorothy Smith Jensen; stepfather, Hickory Smith; brothers, Jerry and Jeffrey Jensen; nephews and niece, Jason, Jeremy, Ann and Brian Jensen; stepson, Duane Duff; and step-great grandson, Jacob Elias. Per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Galer Funeral Home of Pickford, Michigan, is service the family.
