Joseph Martin Enos Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joseph “Marty” Martin Enos, age 57, of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, died on June 7, 2022, at MyMichigan Health Center in Sault Ste Marie. He was born in Sault Ste Marie on October 23, 1964, to John Ramsey and Jacqueline Marie (Carty) Enos. Marty grew up in Sault Ste Marie and attended Sault High School. He moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he finished high school. He began working for the Adult Foster Care System as a caregiver for 25 years. Marty was a member of the Moose #717. Marty loved to read, play with his cat Gibson, and play on his computer. He was a technology guru and loved to set up anything technological. Marty is survived by his sisters, Susan (Kevin) Stephenson of White Cloud, Michigan, and Donna (John Lundy) Brown of Sault Ste Marie; brothers, Dave Norman and Patrick (Mary) Enos, both of Sault Ste Marie; step-sister, Donna Gunderson of Sault Ste Marie; step-brothers, Paul (Robin) Gunderson of Gaylord, Michigan, and Walter (Diane) Gunderson of Petersburg, Michigan; Aunt Carol (Dick) Perlick and Uncle Art Carty; great friends, Leslie and Pete Hewer of Sault Ste Marie; and nieces, Adrinna Gunderson, Martina (Alex) Johnson, and other beloved nieces and nephews. Marty is preceded in death by his parents, John and Jacqueline Enos; and stepmother, Margaret Enos, and step-brothers David and Todd Gunderson. Thank you to all of the 2nd floor staff at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault for the respectful treatment he received. Per Marty's wishes, no services will be held. There will be a Celebration of Life on July 9, 2022, at the Moose Lodge in Sault Ste Marie, at 2:00 P.M. Galer Funeral Homes & Cremation in Pickford, Michigan, is serving the family.
