Patricia Susan Allen

Patricia Susan (Sharp) Allen of Pickford, Michigan, died on April 2, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan at the age of 77. She was born on September 21, 1944, in Sandusky, Ohio to Norm and Dorothy Sharp. Patricia grew up in her hometown of Sandusky where she attended High School. She began working after graduation and became a manager at Forest City Factory. She met Robert C. Allen when she went out dancing and began dating shortly after. They married on June 21, 1944 and started their family. They moved to Michigan shortly thereafter for Robert’s work and have been in Michigan ever since. Patricia became a fulltime mother and raised her growing family. She absolutely adored her children and grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed knitting and crocheting, cooking, and making Afghan blankets for her friends and family. She was also a big fan of murder mysteries and liked watching TV shows like CIS. Most of all, Patricia loved being a mother and grandmother. She cared deeply for those around her and opened her heart and home to everyone. She will be greatly missed. Patricia is survived by her husband, Robert of Pickford; children, Brenda Granger of North Carolina, Dawn Browkoski of Trenton, Michigan, Ashley Peltier of Kinross, Michigan and Tyler Allen of St. Ignace, Michigan; as well as many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, and children, Robert and Lisa. Private family services will be held. Galer Funeral Homes & Cremation of Pickford, Michigan, is serving the family.
