David Honeycutt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Lee Honeycutt, 47 of St.Ignace passed away unexpectedly at his home early Sunday morning August 28, 2011 of an apparant heart attack.. He was born September 6,1963 in Garden City to Ralph and LelaMarie (Fuston) Honeycutt. He lived in Taylor until age 14, when the family moved to Moran. He graduated from LaSalle High School. David worked for several years as a dealer at Kewadin Shores Casino. He spent many years driving carriage tours on Mackinac island, mostly for Arrowhead Tours. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and loved hunting, fishing and his family. On October 1,1990 he married Lisa Bulger in St.Ignace and she survives; 2 sons, Robert (Jessica Price) of Charlevoix; Alan (Felicia Lutz) of Kincheloe; His mother, Lela Honeycutt, St.Ignace; 2 brothers, Virgil and Phyliss, Hawthorne, Florida; Ralph Allen and Carol of Seattle, WA; 3 sisters, Judy and Mark Broden, Detroit; Debbie and Dennis Foster, St.Ignace; Diane Honeycutt, St.Ignace and a grandson, Brandon, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceeeded in death by his father, Ralph on December 11,1989, and a brother, Gerald in August 2008. Cremation has taken place and services will be announced later. Dodson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
