Todd William McKerroll Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Todd W. McKerroll, age 59, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Michigan. He was born August 25, 1962, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Robert (Bob) and Eleanor (Norie) (Torok) McKerroll. Todd grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and attended Sault Area High School. He attended Davenport Community College and earned an Associate Degree in Business before joining the United States Army. Todd was a long term non-commissioned officer, who served as a Sergeant First Class in the Army for 22 years, from 1982 to 2004. Todd had tours in Germany and South Korea, but made Fort Hood, Texas his home for many years. He always said he loved the heat. When he retired from the US Army, Todd continued to work at Fort Hood as a civilian contractor until his stroke in 2013. Todd enjoyed coin collecting and watching Red Wings hockey. Todd is survived by his sister, Melissa McKerroll Francis of Lake Orion, Michigan; nephews Stephen Francis, William Francis, John Francis, Mark Francis, Robert McKerroll, Patrick McKerroll, and Justin Stevens; nieces Marigrace Francis and Jessica Stevens; sister-in-law Staci McKerroll; and cousins Lorie Watkins, James Sessions, and Gracelyn Sessions. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eleanor, and his brother Robert McKerroll III. Visitation will be Saturday June 11, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 377 Maple St Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783, from 11:00am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12noon with Father Nicholas Thompson officiating. Final Resting Place will be Oaklawn Chapel Gardens Cemetery.
